Back in 2018, I intended to publish an annual for my Doctor Who fanzine Strange Skins in the style of the Dr. Who Annuals [sic] that were published in the mid to late 70s when I was growing up. This included a comic strip in the style of artist Paul Crompton, whose weird imagery and surreal storytelling triggered Christmas Day nightmares in a million British kids. Unfortunately, the Strange Skins Annual was never produced and the comic strip – created entirely in Photoshop using found images – was never completed… until now! Ladies and Gentlemen, for the 60th Anniversary year of Doctor Who, I proudly present Dr. Who and Leela in THE BEAST!
