Hummingbird

Hummingbird copy

Hummingbird flits from tree to tree,
Sipping nectar like honey bee,
Her nature calls,
Smiles where she falls,
My senses ring, Hummingbird sing.

Shining feathers, like velvet lace,
Move along there, it’s no disgrace,
Eyes like black beads,
Obeying her needs,
My senses ring, Hummingbird sing.

Move so fast, wings are a blur,
Every last eye falling on her,
Speeding up time,
Sipping her wine,
My senses ring, Hummingbird sing.

Swifter angel from Heaven dropped,
Force of nature, she can’t be stopped,
From tree to tree,
Hummingbird, pick me,
My senses ring, Hummingbird sing.
